Sonnet and wee fishies

The body of Sonnet is done! She looks lovely, and better yet, she fits! I found fat wooden buttons for it, and I think they're perfect with the handpainted yarn. I cast on the first sleeve, but have had to leave it for the time being in order to pursue the knitting of many tesselating fish...I do want to make a baby blanket of said fishies, so have been working on them. One or two a day, and I should be done by the end of the month, plenty of time before the baby is due. I realized the red yarn I was using was just the tiniest bit finer (18 stitches per inch, instead of 17) and so have made 4 of those for the corners, which won't throw off the whole blanket. The rest will be pink (coral) and orange. Having made so many (8?) in the past few days, I have now memorized the pattern, which comes in handy. So fish it is.
